Hey all! Anyone listen to the MLB on XM? If so, heres a couple questions. Who does the broadcasting? Are they XM DJ's? Is it local guys? Tell me more please! Do they favor one team over another? Thanks all!

I am a frequent XM MLB listener. On Homeplate, XM 175, XM announcers are broadcasting the channel giving MLB highlights and talk. ON the play by play channels, 176-189, they pick up the local radio broadcast for the home team. So, for example, if Toronto and Boston are playing in Boston, the feed will be coming from 850 WEEI, the Red Sox home affiliate. And so on. Hope that helps!

cool! So, if it is a home game in Seattle, it'll be the Seattle guys? wooh-hooh!

Right on. And if Seattle is on the road, it,ll be the home team for the team they're playing. I wish I could get Toronto's home broadcast all the time, but I am sure as hell not complaining. Baseball on TV is not nearly as good as on the radio, so I am happy.

i know someone else posted problems about it this season (and I haven't subscribed yet) but MLB Gameday is great, you get all the local radio coverage for every game and can choose to listen either to the home or away broadcasters, and its only like $15 (at least thats what it was last year)...I loved listening to all the games as my White Sox made their run to the World Series.
